We help you manage your prescribed medicines, and provide staff training that allows care homes to exceed national standards for managing medicine.
Jointly we can determine the best plan that meets your care home requirements
Services for homes include
Request, Collection and Delivery of Monthly Medication
Emergency prescription dispensing and delivery
Priority Scripts received by 4pm
PM are delivered on the same day (assuming medicine in stock)
Take ownership to Liaise with GP to resolve any queries or discrepancies in Prescriptions
As standard provide Medicine Administration Record (MAR) for every patient or support eMAR solution
Dedicated telephone number for care home to allow us to give your calls priority
Training for Medicine handling for care home staff
Provide advice and support to the residents and staff on Medicine usage
Yearly visits to review process and procedure for medicine handling
Pharmacist/Technician will visit the care home to carry out the assessment using the care home assessment / action plan. (Such a process has been demonstrated in trail to reduce 90% of error in medicine handling.)
Regular assessment of medicine returns to reduce waste and handling costs for all concerned
Training Plan - advise on overall training requirements for relevant members of Care Home staff
Care home staff are trained to an NPA Approved Level and CQC guidelines
